There is no band comparable to them (not totally true, the early work is comparable to Dinner is Ruined but still quite unique). If you wanna have a name tag on it, it would be lofi, or DIY, since the two of them do everything themselves. They have covered almost every style of popmusic trough the years, and managed top make a parodie of each of them. Best example of this parody is maybe "12 golden country greats" which -and this should tell you enough- only contains 11 songs, with all very implicite lyrics.
