Waylon is why I listen to country music! Growing up in Michigan in the 70's and 80's we had Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band and Uncle Ted "NUDGET" but I was always a Waylon Fan! His music is a statement!

The best album of 2003 was just released by a legend who has been gone for over a year! "Waylon Live - The Expanded Version" is a killer. when God wanted to create the perfect human voice he made Waylon and this album is a time capsule of a sound that has never been recaptured, not even by Waylon himself. Do yourself a favor and buy this album now! The current talent pool in Nashville has just been left in the dust by a record that is 27 years old. This album is loaded with classic country and rock hits of the era. The sound generated by this 5 piece band is amazing. Waylons vocals and guitar work are at their peek. It would be nice to see one of the songs get released, i think it could fair very well on the charts. this may be the best country record of all time. country music will never be the same again.........again.
