moonfaire, if you have a music downloading source, such as kazaa, you can check out carnivore before you buy the album. carnivore reminds me of the early type o (slow deep and hard), but maybe a little heavier.

Type O Negative is a bad ass band if you ask me, Bloody Kisses, My Girlfriends Girlfriend, are my favorites. All the people that I have told about Type O negative have like them crazy style, so you should too, so keep listning to the cool sh** peace out.

Type O Negative is the center of my musical spectrum and has been my favorite most of my adult life. No other music can penetrate my soul like TON, which to me suggests work by genius. October Rust is a masterpiece that belongs with the handful of the truly best rock albums of all time.

I personally love Type O negitive.I've listened to them since I was thirteen.I'm now twenty one.I have everyone of their cd's.I wasn't goth and I still loved them.I've never been to their concert.Its kinda hard I can't figure out if their ever comeing to the USA.My fave cd's are October Rust,Bloody kisses,and of course World Coming Down.If anyone has any info on future concerts in the USA please e-mail me at

I just read a few articles on the lead guy of this band and he is an ungrateful bastard. He posed nude for a VERY well-known layout in Playgirl. He said it was "irritating" and more, that gay men bought it mostly and loved it. NATURALLY he felt it necessary to proclaim he was "fucking straight." It is the greatest compliment possible when the same sex compliments you. That means you've REALLY got it goin' on. I wish we could turn back time and that all gay people who bought that damned rag could RETURN it. I wonder if he'd be "irritated" if all his gay fans stopped buying his goddamned records. First off, I want to say that I have been a very hardcore fan of Type O ever since the first song that ever crossed my ears. It is a shame really that they have been so underated for so long but thankfully they are gaining the support and appreceiation they deserve. Secondly, I would like to comment on Mr. Devine's self glorifying, narcisistic, homo erotic propaganda. Give it up. No body really cares if you're are gay and proud of it. You project the mentality of someone who is just trying to justify the life choice you have made by proclaiming it out across the internet. But if it helps you sleep at night, if it softens the overbearing question in your very psyche of "Why do I have to be different?" Then go right ahead. I just want to let you know you have made yourself transparent. Peter Steele's lyrics are something to be looked at with a questioning state of mind. For example the song "wolf moon" is a gigantic metaphore for "going down" on a woman while she is having her period. Listen to it with this in mind and make the connections. You might need to get out a dictionary and look up the word "sanguine". All his lyrics should be looked closer to. They aren't all sexual in nature but some are. Maybe it's not him you are questioning.....Maybe it 's yourself.

new album is real good, but can't get into tracks 4 or 5. the rest are class tho, seeing them friday at the astoria! not sure if its as good as world coming down yet, because of trax 4 and 5, but is v.good i love i don't wanna be me have wanted them to do something like that for a while. anywayz this rambling is at an end
