| Discussion: Three Doors Down hey... ya Three Doors Down is a pretty good band i guess... not near as good as Nirvana or many others. I was looking up the lyrics for a new song and i found myself amused by some of the pathetic comments people have made on here. To "amy" or whatever your name is, the one who said you went to three doors down concert last night and got to go on their tour bus, thats the biggest load of crap I've ever heard you liar, I'm sure you got to kiss the "drummer Daniel who is so cute and nice" i quote you on that. It's great to have a band stand by the military!!!! It's a rough time right now for our airmen, sailors, and soldiers! Not to mention their familys. I am in the military, and I recently got back from a tour overseas. I had just got married, and a month later I had to leave my husband, and I didn't know when I would come home. It was really depressing. When I heard 3 Doors Down was coming only about a week after I first got there I was so excited. It brought a sense of hope that I could make it through this. I am at home now with my husband trying to cheerish every moment I have with him, because I know that tomorrow they can call, and I will be off to war, but I know in my heart that 3 Doors Down gave me the strength to make it through anything!!! My boyfriend is a Marine reservist and was deployed to Kuwait about a month ago. I miss him terribly and so far, the only communication I have had from him was a short letter that I just received a few days ago. I'm always wondering what's going on with him and how he's holding up out there. I believe this song may say a lot about his feelings and it gives me strengh during this tough time. I feel that many different meanings can be taken from the lyrics, which makes the song apply to many people in various situations.
