EVERY song on their cd is awesome and buried myself alive is the best song I've ever heard. Bert McCracken's voice is incredible and the way he screams and sings so melodically (in sometimes the same sentence) sets them apart from any other band. I had the good fortune of catching then a couple years back with Andrew W.K. at a tiny punk club near where I live. This was back before they hit the radio. To call them "punk rock" is a stretch, but they definately have talent. The song box of sharp objects, hit me hard and rapidly became one of my fav's at the time. They put on a fairly decent show, though the singer failed to hit some of those groin churning high notes. But if singing off key is a crime, there would be a run on prison cells. I am saddend that radio has played them out so much, but given its history on ruining good music for me, I am not surprised. A word on AWK. I own the cd and only listened to it once, it is mainly mindless party boy music and I didn't really like it, unit I saw him live.....good god! The energy that band exudes is uncanny, and the show really turned into a mad drunken party. Ahhh bliss, violence and alcohol. search and destroy >>By tiesthatsever I love the used! They were amazing in the beginning and they are amazing now.
