| Discussion: The Sonics sonicscinos >>By Gabe Hey,is this all you had to say about the mighty Sonics?Along with Mudhoney and Motorhead they had the dirtiest sound in rock history.Jerry Roslie was one hell of a screamer, let alone songwriter! His original compositions outshone their covers by far.Even those covers were performed better than the original artists.One of the most vital bands of the 60's. >>By thom I really like these guys, even more than the Monks or the Yardbirds for garage rock bands from the 60's. Their cover of "Roll Over Beethoven" is good, probably the best one i've ever heard, though not better than Chuck. Favorite Sonics tune? Strychnine!
