The Rolling Stones have never really appealed to me much. Interesting that gnod chose this band. I have noticed that some people like The Rolling Stones or they like The Beatles and one is liked quite a bit more than the other. The choice gnod made seems logical though. The other choices in the field were very good! I am familiar with many of the bands but not necessarily in the order gnod produced. Close though!

The stones easily have accomplished more then most bands could ever dream.Their longevity alone is enough to prove they are the best ever...add all the songs we hear each and everyday on tv,radios,peoples websites..love em or hate them noone can deny there never will be a greater musical talent on this earth.

You know what your favorite song of all time is the first time you hear it.After hearing it, you will wonder how it was possible to live in a world where that song didnt exist. And you feel a way and see the world in a way you now know is possible to feel, and wonder how people can survive without that song.

I know Im rambling on like an idiot, and am prolly high.....but the point is Paint It Black is the greatest song ever!

I cant believe that the song is 35 years old and Ive only heard it recently.....how did I ever live?

My brother asserts that many of the tunes on Exile attributed to Keith were actually played by Ry Cooder. I know Ry gets some credit on Exile, but all he deserved? I have also heard legend of Keith recording all his tracks flat on his back.
