There kinda like a japanese Foo Fighters, but with Led Zeppelins diversity and creativity. They seem to touch a chord that alot of bands don't these days. I enjoy to listen to music from other countries and even music from the U.S with foreign inspired feel. I have heard of The Pillows before FLCL made its US debut through a friend and instantly wanted to hear more. They reminded me of a Japanese Weezer. I kind of wonder of they have any pull from the band considering Weezer's popularity over in Japan. America is slowly becoming more open to outside styles of music, which I am really enjoying. As the anime boom in the states continues to grow, so will the flow foreign music ring through our ears. I hope more people become more open minded to the new sounds, and not turned off because they dont understand the singing.
