I personally, am a huge tguk fan.. all of their work is sooo diverse and amazing.. and to look at the band you'd think that every single member just got pulled from a different band and they all just are a huge melting pot of fricken amazing artists. 'Something to write home about' is classic and is just one of those albums you can always plug in and put yourself in the mood for.. 'Eudora' is a great collection of songs.. and 'On a wire' is fricken great.. it's soooo crazy and different.. not to mention their numerous EP's.. damn.. I love you Get Up Kids!! I'd sell my soul to the Get Up Kids! (Or would I...?)

the get up kids are a classical emo band.. they are loved so much in my heart. most of the time i am dreaming or listening to there songs. Every person can enjoy there music no matter age or there interests.

I love the Get up kids I wanna marry all of them, and have there babys(j/k)I love there music even thought they do not like to be called Emo, still they have there own sound not exactley Emo but you know there great live i think there best Cd is red letter day/woodson there newest cd is different from what they have done before but its still really good! I LOVE THE GET UP KIDS

The Get Up Kids. What is there to be said? It really can't be put in words. They're...brilliant. Every song makes you feel like they're talking right to you. All of the albums are put together in a way that seems really personal, like you're expecting the next song...and their CD's are ones that I don't actually have to skip over half the songs...hah...Well, if you haven't heard them, you're missing out...they're something else.

I really think they are great!! Unfortunately I've only seen them once, but they were amazing!!! Any time when I feel down, their music cheers me up, they are wonderfull... Definitely the best band in the world!!

The get up kids is my favorite band. I try not to judge bands by there lables however, i seem to like "emo" (a lable that completely lost its original meaning) more than anyother genre. The get up kids are just all together AMAZING music! By all means, regradless of the bands you like or the genre of music you like...do yourself a big favor and listen to any song by the get up kids, guarentee you'll be hooked!

the get up kids kick ass. their like the only good emo band atound now a days. most bands like blink and good charolette give it a bad name. the get up kids make it better though because they are cool.

I love the get up kids! they are the best....the song dont hate me is sooo awesome, and so is red lettter day...their new cd "on a wire" isnt as good as their old stuff but its pretty good i like the song hannah hold on...what do you guys think of the new cd?

the get up kids are my favorite band....but i heard that they did a music video on mtv.....i don't think its a bad thing i just hope they don't end up like that damn dashboard confessional group....they were so much better before they went mainstream....

I recently saw the Get up Kids, and i was shocked, for a long time i have listened to their CDs but seeing them live is somthing completely different and definitly somthing to cherish. I <heart> the get up kids

The Get Up Kids have moved forward strong. The contrast from "Four Minute Mile" to their most recent "On a Wire" is amazing. They have truely grown as a group. But unlike similar bands they have changed during the time. In "Four Minute Mile" the lyrics are good and the general sound is rougher, almost punk like. After "Four Minute Mile" James Dewees is added with his keys. From that point on, the sound is cleaner, nicer, easier. "On a Wire" in my opinion is the Crowning achivement of a great, great band.

The Get Up Kids are incredible. Their music has had such a huge effect on my life. "On a Wire" is by far their greatest record released. If you haven't seen them live, catch them next time they're near you--You won't see another show as awesome. May The Get Up Kids rock on...

Ya I agree that the get up kids are really good, fave song being I'll catch you.
What are you talking about Dashboard confessional and sucking now that they are "mainstream"? I've never even seen a Dashboard video and I think their music is so totally heartfelt and awesome. I really think they put the emo in emotional.
