"irony is a dead scene" is a good example of "when good dogs do bad things"

Irony is a dead scene is the next evolution in music.
I saw them at reading in the summer simply amazing!!!!!

Dillinger have the greatest fucking drummer- the fact that he can pull off the drums to 'Come to Daddy' perfectly is enough to prove that. Come to think of it, they're all fucking technically amazing musicians, and their music's fucking great! They don't mind pissing people off either, which is good to see in a modern hardcore/metal band, and they're daring enough to do something different, which is good, cause metal was starting to get really, really boring

Dillinger is by far my favorite band ever. Chris Penne (drummer) is the most influential musician i have ever looked up to. To this day there is no album that can even touch calculating infinity. Dillinger's live show is the most amazing thing i have ever seen. Chris Penne is God! Thank you.

calculating infinity was great, but i can't appreciate mike patton.

I am an extremely die-hard and one of the biggest DEP fans, as well as a good friends of the band. They are just beyond gifted and talented as individual musicians. What impresses me the most is how they play like every show is their last and do the best job ever, in my opinion. The upcoming LP should arrive soon, and I'll be first to show up for the Take Action Tour show!

Oh and Chris Pennie is my biggest influence and a god on drums!

DEP is calculated insanity...truly amazing! Chris Penne is the most amazing drummer who ever lived!!! He is also a great guy and was a good friend to me once when I needed one. He played guitar in a highschool hardcore band called Point 5 with me; yeah, he also plays guitar pretty darn well!

the bassist Liam Wilson kicks ass because he's vegan! They're going on tour soon w/ Everytime I die, Zao, Misery signals, and drowningman.
He's a bad ass bass player plus, he likes to cook vegan food.
He did an interview w/ peta2.com ...check it out, its worth it...

I like them. Well, I like a lot of their stuff, but they do occasionally seem to just disintegrate into noise.

Still, as far as experimental hardcore goes, Carpe Diem by Willhaven is much better than anything DEP have produced in my opinion.
