As a band the Cure have their distinct colour of musical sound and image. I have a deep respect for them, they are great.

The Cure will be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...or maybe the Pop Hall of Fame......they are one of England's best bands and are still kicking......Echo and the Bunnymen were good too...but they didn't have the staying power of The Cure which has been through quite a bit and is still intact....and their song writing ability...very lyrical.....My favorite is "The Forest"...simply put: A great Band!!!

For how long are they in pop'biz' now.......30 years? Wow, and still kickin' ass! Been to their concert here in the Netherlands in March this year and was amazed by the energy they still got. O.k., there've been some bandchanges through the years, but Robert 's still standing tall in the power of new wave -and rockmusic. Quite impressive gig it was. Fascinating band.
