"Its My Life" is the most notorious song, but "Talk-Talk" and The monkey on the video, are really cool.......

>>By trunky

talk talk is a band i discovered by chance though i m a fan of the new wave generation music.and the eternal 80's albums. it is a great pleasure to listen and keep in ears sounding the beautiful rhymes of such a shame. i wanna know more on the band. thanks very much for the site which enlarge our mind and make us remember the old 80's songs. your friend from algeria

By far my favorite is Renee, especially live! I saw them play with Psychedelic Furs. What a concert.

>>By newwavr

Good to find a lot of like-minded people. They're a criminally overlooked band from the 80's.

Talk Talk is probably THE most underrated band in the history of rock. Without their groundsetting, there wouldn't be any Radiohead or any of the current great bands. I miss them and wish they would do solo projects or something!

>>By Saeboy

they do solo projects actually!

just look for their names in the talk-talk fan sites.

O`rang
Rustin` man

Life`s what you make it....always in my top 5.... i can listen to it 30 times in a row...

also `i don`t belive in you` sweetest truth ever.

ciao!

Such a shame is an awesome tune. I also like the video for Dumb Dumb Girl

>>By gottabekd

To Saeboy:

If you want solo projects check out following acts:

O'rang - Hollis' solo project
Beth Gibbons (Portishead singer) & Rustin Man "Out of Season" - aka Webb (bass player)

The first may be hard to track down. The second is recent, Dec. 2002.

Hope that helps

I love listening to early Talk Talk b4 I go out (talk talk, it's so serious, life's what you make it- there's loads!), and then relaxing with spirit of eden b4 I go to sleep. It's really enchanting, and is some of the only music in the world that requires you to listen to it 100%.

its great! better than cats

>>By better late than never

Classic Brit band not that popular in the UK but much better than most of their contemporaries of the same era. Saw them in London with Stevie Windwood guesting on keyboards. Brilliant

I've been listening to TT since '82. Fortunately, new releases are still being made available, my most recent addition: "London 1986".
Looking forward to getting "Missing Pieces".
Still in awe over "Spirit of Eden".
How about Mark Hollis's solo album?
O Rang, anyone?
