I gotta agree that SM's old stuff is certainly alot better than the new stuff. The old stuff has lyrics that aren't meaningless and they actually make you think.(although the new stuff is good for driving around- its got good bass).
Deep End is probably my favourite song of theirs. In fall of 1999 (might have been early 2000, can't remember) a snowboard movie came out, called "The Resistance", that came with a Battle Axe compilation CD. If you can listen to it or get the songs, it's got the best songs that Battle Axe has ever put out (in my opinion).
Also, I sure find it hard to accept and think about the opinion of many of the girls on here, based on their musical knowledge, when their entire basis for Swollen's musical talent is summed up in "Mad Child is like, sooooooo hot". Sure makes a bad impression for all the girls out their who have musical knowledge and don't base their musical choices on the appearance of the artist. Uh-oh, now I'm gonna get it.

I think their debut joint is ill but they've kind of fell off a little, but they definetly got skills and you don't see many Canadian hip hoppers who can really spit like hell. Evidence did some nice beats for them, and I'm sure DJ Premier could hook these guys up with a gem.

Newayz i think they should definitley double up with nelly furtado again. the song breath is awesome, but i still love the other songs too! no matter how much they change, i will alwayz support them because they have a great attitude to what they are doing and how they act. it doesn't really matter because they are doing what they do best, and if they like , who gives a fuck with what any one else thinks!
