I wanna thank Switchfoot for letting God work through them, and conveying the message of Christ's Love. You Rock!! I'll never get bored of your songs!!! They rock and are truely inspired By our God. i'm from south africa and we all heard swft first album about 3 years ago and ever since then we've awaited each new release. Yeah these guys - their lyrics shine truth that Jesus has called us all to live by. to reach out to the lost. see them saved. its time to rock the world with Truth. Switchfoot is definately up there making anthems to inspire and challenge us.

Switchfoot rocks...literally. I own two of their CDs, but have listened to all of them, including the walk to remember soundtrack, and I can't even begin to communicate the impact their music has had on my life! I love the fact that they are serious about their faith and will step out into the "mainstream" - they aren't scared. Their lyrics range from funny and slightly irreverent (think Poparazzi and Gone) to serious, deep, thoughtful lyrics (Let That Be Enough and On Fire)...Their music videos are innovative, and they are AMAZING in concert!! I think The Beautiful Letdown is my favorite so far...and my favorite trilogy of songs is on there (The Beautiful Letdown, Gone, On Fire). I first heard Switchfoot in A Walk To Remember. The minute I heard some of their songs I had felt this cocention with the songs. I waited a long time to get the soundtrack and when I did I listened to it over and over. I looked at so many record stores to find their album. Nothing worked. In early August that year(2002) I went up to my Grandparents house in Hoodsport, WA and there just so happened to be a little christian store in town. So I thought to myself I might as well check and see. I walk in go to the back where the cds are and I find what i've been looking for. Learning To Breathe. I was so happy I couldnt even talk. I was speechless. I listened to it everyday it had helped me so much because my mom had gotten sick and was in the hospital for a while. Their music got me through. About a month ago this year I had just gotten the internet. I was so happy. I was bored and I had remembered that switchfoot might have a new album out. So I went on their site and they did. So a week later I had the cd Beautiful Letdown. Ive been listening to it since. I love it so much. And how the bands getting famous and well known. And now people are saying how great Switchfoot is. But that is what I have been thinking all along. So I hope they're very happy and have a great time. And I will never forget everything I know about them.
