I cannot say I have had the privilege of seeing Suffo live, but now the reformation is in place I certainly hope I do (being from Australia)

Suffocation is killer. They are one of my favorate brutal type deathmetal bands, if you like suffocation you would probably be hip to cryptopsy..another slamming brutal death band.
Nile is also great.

For those that havn't heard this band, you are missing out. I have been into this band for over 10 years, have followed their history exclusively, and studied their songwriting styles. Their live shows are the best. I have bootleg live videos of them from '93 to '98. These guys fucking smoke everyone. Check out the metal blade band "sanctus". i love suffocation. suffoication is one of the legends in death meatal. Chris Richards the base guatrist is my cousin. He is coming out with a new band chemical religion. Him and Bhones are.They should be coming out real soon. It will blow away korn godsmack and all of those bands. When you hear them you will be like wow.its not as hard but its even better. they should be coming out in the fall. Suffoication is out again but its not as good. there are diffrent drummers and basesist now because of the spilt up. but still by the album of chemical reloigon. there signed by sony so feel free to look in it.

Suffocation adalah band favoritku. Selain CANNIBAL CORPSE dan DYING FETUS. Kenapa saya bilang begitu karena kualitas dari skill yang ada pada music tersebut benar-benar bagus dan apik. Suffocation is the shit. i am 25 and i have been a metal head for a long time. i run into newer metal cats that talk about dying fetus like they are the shit(DON'T GET ME WRONG I DIG DYING FETUS A LOT!) And i tell them Check out Effigy of the Forgotten cause i can tell those cats got a lot of influence from that album. Effigy is heavier than the last girl you banged and more hardcore than the movies your mother makes with the FedEx dude. Suffocation Fux shit up like no other.

to anyone that hasn't heard Suffocation, i Highly advise them to check out Effigy of the Forgotten.
enter the realm from where true brutality was formed, brilliant and gutteral!!
i would relate this album to being somewhat like holding a 50 cal machine gun and annihilating
every fuckin thing in sight! when i was in basic training, this was definately one album i had in mind.
