Is there anything better than a handsome portion of Strawbs to sooth your pain?

Hello Strawbs friends;

I am looking for a copy of "Cherie je t'aime" a French version of Grace Darling recorded by The Strawbs, around 1975. It's a 45, I believe released only in Canada through A&M. The B-side is "heroine's theme". Any leads or actual disc would be greatly appreciated.

Been a fan since the 70s. Sad I missed them when they toured US. Having a hard time finding CDs both old and new. 'Burning for You' is one of the haunting and beauiful songs ever written.

I have been a fan since the 70`s too,They still tour as a 3 piece acoustic act with Dave Cousins ,Dave Lambert and Chas Cronk.I saw the in October 2006 in Syracuse NY Dave Cousins announced the whole band might be touring in the spring the linep from the Hero and Heroine Lp.I saw that lineup a couple years ago at Milestone`s in Rochester NY,they were great.

I saw The Strawbs play a gig in '72 or '73. That was their heyday. The two Daves, Cousins & Lambert, were with them then.
Good to hear they're still performing!
