I saw static-x live when they came into L.A. and they were awsome! The intensity of their music is magnified x100 when playing live. One of the opening acts, Soil, where a perfect intro to Static-X. Their music is plain hard rock. Natural unlike other bands out there.

I've only jus' heard of 'em in the last few months, but they seem pretty cool!!

I used to go see Static X before they were signed, so nobody knew them. They used to be so awesome, hard trance-core industrial disco-metal or whatever they call themselves...Wisconsin Death Trip was fucking excellent, Machine was pretty good, but no where near as good as their first album, and Shadow Zone is boring.

If it wasn't for the fact that Wisconsin Death Trip rocks hard, and that Static X are the best non-death metal live performers around, i'd probably hate them.

Get Wisconsin Death Trip in your CD changer, and get a FIX!!!

I've got a friend who has been on a Korn-concert with Tripp and his girlfriend... I've seen pictures on 'em together and it's soooo cool... hehe... there was loads of things I didn't know about him... and it's things I don't really have anything to do with... but it's cool anyway... hehe

YAY! someone finally said it. . .Shadow Zone is boring. . .and wretched. . .and just plain BAD. . .

Static-X is an insanely great band. . .but honestly Shadow Zone was the end of all of that. . .

I used to be addicted to Static-X and have seen them live 3 times. . .but when i heard their newest album it was utterly disappointing. . .and i can't even bear to listen to it. . .

All i can do is hope that their next album is a return to their classic style. . .hard, fast, and GOOD!

I think Shadow Zone was excellent. Can't compare Wisconsin Death Trip and SZ together, 'cause both albums are equally great. Ofcourse with a lil' change in the sound, but it's all good.

A band get's boring, when they can't evolve musically at all. Static-X can evolve, and it only made the band more interesting. Would be REALLY boring, if all of there albums sounded just like the first one.
