Totally kool. Their songs are very good, and litterally enjoyable. Don't need anythin else than just their music to feel good. It's awesome.

I love Tourist . i work in a fine dining restaurant in Victoria,Canada.there's nothing like poppin your disk while i'm at work and seeing people either tapping there foot or have them ask me what cd is playing. it's hard to find this style of music.

Hear you often on the net. Wicked. Always turn around to see who's sending out those block-rockin' beats. Shyte! It's stormy winter here in Guelph Ontario, and your vibes groove right along with the massive snowflakes. Thanks for letting me plug in.

Sitting down and watching the world in slow motion or the touch of skin on skin as it travels throughout your body, slowly, feeling everything that a human touch should be. Breathing, in and out, as if you were the only one breathing. You feel all of this, finding it’s way into your body and controlling your heart beat and suddenly all that is inside comes to life.

St. Germain combines the smoothness and soul of jazz with the funkiness of modern electronic music. He transcends genre with his eclectic mix of sound that will attract fans from all bases. Nowhere can you find the synthesis of both the classic and modern so perfectly executed. He puts the soul into the machine. How perfectly postmodern of him...
P.S:
check out "Alabama Blues (Todd Edwards Vocal Mix)"... you won't regret it...

Sit down, put your feet up. Take your glass of red wine in one hand, cigarette in the other n chill! Close your eyes and imagine you are mature and all knowing - this is the music you would listen to if you had heard every other genre, song and album in the world!! This is the chosen one, and who fitting it is to your frame of mind. st germain - genius!

I first heard it in 2000 when my friend sent me rouse rouge on tape, I fell in love from the first note, but there was no CD in Poland, then I went to Italy and when heard it at my friend's party - Toscania, beautifula landscapes and people - I knew I had to get it as soon as possible...and now I recon, that "The Tourist" gave birth to my musical awakening. I absolutely adore nu jazz, acid jazz, "elegant" house, chillout, etc. and this is thanx to st..germain - big bow!!

r.e.s.p.e.c.t. to all the genuine music freax!!

peace

I discovered St Germain only last year before heading to Paris for a short holiday and they soundtracked that week superbly. This is THE coolest summer jazz I have ever heard. I'm now totally hooked on Boulevard too but does anyone know if a new album will be available soon?

St. Germain Rules!
Live they are even better!

check out related Ludovic Navarre stuff and other French (electronic) music.

Cheers,
BB.

My buddies and I work in a Kitchen, we always listen to Hip-hop, but, once i heard about St.Germain, i played it for my cooks, and i have not come across 1 person, being server to dish washer who doesnt like him, its awsome, its like folk jazz, and a good beat, very relaxing and good to cook to.

I bought 2 of his cd's, and im the kinda guy that will only burn cd's, and thats how good his stuff is. later...

um, i'm actually looking for the name of a song/band that sounds very much like st. germain...i was hoping someone might be able to help me

i've heard this song twice at the same coffee shop, and they don't know what it is because they have some stupid automated system they don't have access to

so, here's my best description: very similar style as st. germain, but different arrangements...it starts off with an accordion, and then the beat comes on, and then there's a sort of piano solo, and then a violin solo...there's a sort of pause in the rhythm in between instruments...it's a pretty long song, 7-10 min

does this sound familiar to anyone?
