why the fuck does the liner notes of LIVE AT MARITIME HALL mention Black Flag as a DC band that eventually became the Rollins Band? What the fuck is that shit? Is the person that wrote that a moron? Well, obviously he is.

I JUST GOT DONE LISTENING TO THE SOUL BRAINS LIVE IN SAN FRANCISCO. I WAS WONDERING WHY DR. KNOW'S GUITAR SOLOS AND PARTS WERE MOSTLY MUDDLED IN THE MIX. I READ THE LINER NOTES AND GUESS WHAT? DUH...THE BASS PLAYER MIXED THE ALBUM. I LOVE THIS BAND FROM WAY BACK BUT WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ALL ABOUT?

Hey Greg, I know your out there... It is July 2003. I don't know what the last album was. Help me, for I am still trying to ween myself from "God of Love." These four men are a gift to anyone who has the courage to listen. Unfortunately most people need to be spoon fed thier tastes. Stop the small minds disease by expanding yours and love all.

soul brains, bad brains... who cares, this band is simply amazing. hardcore, reggae, rock'n'roll... doesn't matter, they are so sick I can't even put it into words. i was at that show at sf's maritime hall when they recorded the live album. what an experience. they were so on it. new tunes, old tunes, all of it... everything they did was great. oh, gee whiz, is the sound quality on this live album perfect? no! of course it isn't, neither was "youth are getting restless". shut the f*** up and enjoy another live gift from our favorite band. i say the album (playing, sound quality, intensity and the set itself) is a 9.9 out of 10. the only question now is, when can we expect a new studio album?!

thanks and praises the mighty Bad Brains.
