Discussion: Sonny Rollins s >>By s cool >>By himi In Memphis Tennessee I have a jazz radio show on saturday night from 9pm-Midnight, and I call my show Crosscurrents-due to Lennie Tristano's recording. I feature a lot of Sonny's recordings due to the fact that he speaks to the soul-Coltrane in his later years ceased to swing,and Sonny has never ceased to swing. I go up the wall when someone calls me,and wants to hear Boney James, or something in that genre of music when I am playing Sonny. >>By radiojvh rollins is awesome!!! the best is his video for liar where he is all red and screams I'M A LIAR!!! it doesnt get any better than that >>By the dude Rollins is a great musician.
