anticon are the greatest group of poets and lyricists ever to exist in modern hiphopculture (or any modern culture for that matter). the only problem being that they make all other hiphop sound like absolute shit (with the exception of other emo-hiphop artists such as sage francis and aesop rock... who are anticon related at least).

Sole...they're ok, a little up their own asses, but ok. Sole as in the female MC, she's good, but there are better.

And wtf is ''emo-hiphop''? That's bull. No such thing, and to say it sounds like the ultimate attempt at dragging the independent hip-hop scene into complete uncoolness. Plus, all of Sage Francis' music (apart from Non Prophets) is basically just slam-poetry with a beat, Aesop Rock owns him.

Def Jux is better than Anticon anyway. Mr Lif, Cage, El-P, Cannibal Ox, Murs, Aesop Rock, C-Rayz Walz and RJD2? Hah, they laugh in the faces of Sole.
