| Discussion: Soilwork This is an amazing band. i'm so glad that i have found out about them. Very different death metal band than others. Iv'e only heard their new album 'Figure Number five' and it is awesome. I sense some good things up ahead for em. >>By Tom Soilwork rule. Latest album is a lot more melodic and more rock than metal, although the progression from plain Death Metal to 'Melodic Death Metal' to 'Metal' has been fairly gentle, although the difference now between Steelbath Suicide and Figure Number Five is huge. If you liked F.N.F go back in time with Natural Born Chaos and then A Predator's Portrait - both are stunning albums, although the further back you go the more they lose the power of the melodies in F.N.F.
