What is the name of the song of the video with the animals in it? I love this video and am trying to see it somewhere on the web. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Their new song sounds like something the Partridge Family would be singing. Danny Bonaduce where are you?!

Yeah, they're still hiding up in Canada making music; it never really broke for them in the States. Not my favorite band, but they're definitely better than most of the shit dominating the airwaves today.

Sloan have come a long way since 'Smeared.' If you are a real Sloan fan you'll be glad to hear the diversity this band has, as each album has a different sound with different influences. If you are not a real Sloan fan there's still probably an album out there that you can get into. I think more than a few people were unimpressed by 'Pretty Together,' because it was fairly mellow and lacked the energy that the previous albums had. But musically speaking, the band showed a lot of creativity and the album was probably their most diverse to date. The latest album, 'Action Pact' is the album Jay Ferguson was saying they should make someday- an album of many short rock tunes. And most of the tracks are rockers.
Actually, the band's official homepage has loads of praises from American fans. It seems that Sloan fans abound south of the border. The problem is that Sloan have been very particular about how they work with an American label. Consequently, they haven't had any major label promoting them to the extent that they are well known in the U.S. A few years ago they were also hauling butt in Japan, but the new album has been slow to reach the world markets.
I think they are definately a band worth checking out if you haven't already.

I have smeared, and heard some other records of them, but still think smeared is their best. Maybe I should try it again.
