It's what I imagine you'd get if you asked some musical theatre graduates to play pop/rock music..sorta "Elton John at Disco" pastiche. For me they're a sort of "pleasant-enough" commodity but hey I can still buy Elton John, or The Meters, or Dr John CDs if I want something a little less "processed"! :) Each to their own tho! >>By planet ear They are a damned good band, taking a lot of influences from different genres, throwing them into this boiling pot and bringing out this style of theirs which can hook you instantly. I've said this about Abba that they are a band everyone can enjoy to a certain extent and perhaps, this will be the same thing with Scissor Sisters. Still haven't seen them live yet. >>By Neural Flux Just have the need to express, o my....they're on television now, live on a musicfest. in Holland named 'Pinkpop'........ They're just amazing ! Really had no idea what to expect from these guys. Thought they would be a 'onenightstand' in the charts. I remember they played at Coachella, I didn't know much of them, and didn't expect to hear about them again, but here they are.
