hearing the tower of learning is one of my best musical experience, it is a kind of meditation.

Beautifully talented man- beautiful to watch when he's at the piano, beautiful to listen to when he sings. This man puts me in a trance and I never tire of the melodies or that sweet, sweet voice.

By far the most talented musician I've ever heard. Every one of his songs is amazing and I never tire of hearing his delicious melodious voice. From sweeping granduer to dark melancholy every note is a gift from heaven.

Rufus is so amazing. His lyrics are so powerful and his voice is so passionate. I can listen to him all the time, not to mention stare at his beauty! I just found out a lot about him recently and i can't get enough!

well no one has written anything about Rufus for ages so i will! I saw him performing the other night and he was amazing!! Not only does he sing live better than anyone else I have ever heard, he, and his band, performed a crazy dance routine to "Old Whore's Diet"! What more can you ask for?? And, as most people have mentioned, he is gorgeous which is always a bonus. Pity he's gay...oh well.

He's so great. I saw him performing in zürich. I was ashamed of thinking, that he was much, much better than the main act this evening(keane). He'd have earned much more glory!
When he starts to sing you forget the world around and your heart starts to beat in the same time as his music.

I recommend renting the dvd,'Leonard Cohen:I'm your man.'
Rufus gives a great interview and sings a few songs live.
There are other good singers as well.
Antony, of Antony&the Johnsons, really shines.

Yes, Cohen is a fair & worthy enough talent now.

folks might want to listen to some of the many lps/cds his mom and aunt, Kate & Anna McGarrigle, have put out over the years. My favorites are Dancer w/ Bruised Knees and The French Album..but everything has value.

The very first albums by his dad, & mum & aunt, are both very excellent.
