I should have discovered Brian Ferry and his very talented peers earlier. Their music is just...soothing. Fantastic.

On the strength of their first couple of albums & singles, i'd say they're still one of the most innovative British pop bands post-Beatles. All the more pity then that they lost their balance later by becoming increasingly Ferry-centred.

me mucho-likee their early album covers !!!!! (wink-wink, nudge-nudge, know what i mean ;) & i concur with nonyeb ..... i too much prefer the early *brian eno tinged* Roxy Music.

It's interesting to conjecture how Roxy might have been, & how they might have progressed, had Brian Eno remained with them. They did their best work with him, yes, yet by contrast Eno's first couple of solo albums are far less aclaimed than his later ones.
