I see lots of the people who like HIM like THE RASMUS too!I dont really like them but they are good, i actually only like them because my friend Miriam likes them and she hates HIM, so if we dont listen to HIM then we listen to Rasmus!Anyway, i invented a SPANISH but stupid version to IN THE SHADOWS!Miriam didnt really like it!

Well... yeah, they rock. I remember when they were just "Rasmus"
and their songs were so sweet, like one love song which was actually in Finnish
but still it was such a cute song. Now they rock hard!

Y'all heard from The Rasmus just like a year or two ago. I live in Finland, so i've known them since 1995 or something... The music has changed ALOT. I also have autographs from all the guys, who played in The Rasmus in 1996. They weren't that big then, so they were playing at this small club-place. Good old times....

Well, they're not all that big now, are they? They're only slightly famous because of HIM - there's this band from a country nobody's been interested in since the 1940s and suddenly everyone thinks : Let's check out Finnish bands! And so Rasmus arise from obscurity. I really don't think they'll ever make it as big as HIM though. Still, I think both bands are alright.

Well, they have achieved things that are rare to finnish bands. You know, being number 1s on the charts all around europe, getting awards, performing on big stages and things like that. And if people really were checking out finnish bands, there would be lil' more than just 2-3 groups making it big right now. Most bands don't get that much attention, 'cause they really are from Finland, and no one is intrested.

Perhaps HIM and Rasmus are the only good Finnish bands... Not that they're as good as a lot of other bands - the lyrics are too blunt for my liking.

Finnish pop music is much like everythig else in these days pop-charts. But what i think, is that most bands sing in finnish. That's how Rasmus started. So people aren't interested in music wich includes finnish lyrics.

I'm thinking of buying In the Shadows single - I rarely buy singles, so this will be for the B-sides and the video. It's only like £2. Definitely worth it, but can I be bothered to go out to buy it?
So anyway, what's the verdict on the Finnish songs? Aside from being in Finnish (I don'tmind - I listen to a lot of German music and I don't exactly understand that much), how good is it?
