I remember when they were just "Rasmus" and their songs were so sweet, like one love song which was actually in Finnish but still it was such a cute song. Now they rock hard! I live in Finland, so i've known them since 1995 or something... The music has changed ALOT. I also have autographs from all the guys, who played in The Rasmus in 1996. They're only slightly famous because of HIM - there's this band from a country nobody's been interested in since the 1940s and suddenly everyone thinks : Let's check out Finnish bands! And so Rasmus arise from obscurity. I really don't think they'll ever make it as big as HIM though. You know, being number 1s on the charts all around europe, getting awards, performing on big stages and things like that. And if people really were checking out finnish bands, there would be lil' more than just 2-3 groups making it big right now. But what i think, is that most bands sing in finnish. That's how Rasmus started. It's only like Ģ2. Definitely worth it, but can I be bothered to go out to buy it? So anyway, what's the verdict on the Finnish songs?
