I absolutely LOVE Rancid. Face it..they kick ass. And I love Tim's voice. The Transplants blew my mind, and yes, New Found Glory and Good Charlotte suck.

Rancid rocks ya! NOFX does 2 but sh!t Blink 182 didn't always suck they were good in dude ranch but hell this should be the last comment on other bands this is about Rancid. they totally arnt rancid. Matt Freeman kicks you'll motherf**ker bass players @ssh0les. he rocks.

Dude, Rancid is the Greatest Punk band of all time. they are braver than any other Punk band! All you Shit heads out there care too much about who is more punk than who. Worry about something that matters. Blink 182 might suck, but at least they are doing their own thing! I love to be In their shoes with all that Money. Besides, any band can suck. Even a straight Punk band! Music is Music. What matters is if you like it or not. Oh, and GreenDay is Awsome! They are Too Punk for Punk Rock I guess, cause even the punx of the world get uneasy about what they put out. What the Fuck people?

yeah i cant wait for the new rancid album to come out. its been almost 3 long frickin years and im totally ready for a new blow to the side of my head. and by the way, their best album was definitely all of them. and anyone who thinks theyre just selling out and changing w/ rancid "2000," is dumb. they kicked ass and simply went back to the old days of rancid. harder stuff like "lets go." and did it ever occur to you that maybe tim was in the new found glory video cuz hes friends with those (poppy) guys? people can hang out even if they do make way different music. who the hell was talkin about being sick of all the rancid side projects. lars and the bastards, devils brigade, and even the transplants are rad. i dunno i love em.

I disagree with Nofx Punk Gay BLINK 182 and Green Day NEVER suck. Good Charlotte and Avril Lavigne play any shit and they say that it's punk. buhahhaa Maybe they try to be punk but it what they play is pop shit as britney but new generation. Busted is the worst.

Dude, if anything, punk is more alive than it's been in years. Rancid is gonna spread it. True punk all across the country for eveybody to hear. Punk is all about being heard. For the most part, I agree with everyting you said. I'm not one of the Punk Rock Elitists, and I could give a shit if a band is on a major. I listen to all kinds of bands and genres of music, so for a band to be on a major label means nothing to me. Here's what bugs me though, for years Rancid ranted about how much major labels suck and anti-corporations, bla bla bla. I saw them on Warped Tour 2 years ago, and Lars made this big rant up on stage about how bands don't have to be on a major label to be heard, and he said quote, "We'll be down with an indy label untill we die." Hell, even in the AP article about them just a week ago, they said ,"we'll be with Brett Gurewitz (the owner of Epitaph records) forever."
The whole "sell-out" debate aside, these guys are hypocrites. The posterchildren for indy punk rock for years have gone and done exactly what they've been preaching against for the last 10 years.
I think it is great that bands like Less Than Jake, and AFI are getting the opportunity to be heard and finally make money..... they deserve it. I feel the same way about Rancid, but the whole major label thing bugs me because unllike the bands I mentioned earlier, Rancid been so outspoken about bands signing to major labels.

If you think that LTJ arent sell outs and that Rancid are sell outs then you dont know your head from your ass. listen to LTJ's music about corporate crap, then take a look at the label they are on now...its warner. Rancid on the other hand could give a shit about the money they make, thats not why they moved, they moved to who was going to help them make the best record and that isnt epitaph anymore...epitaph is falling apart. BUT, Gurewitz is still producing Rancid's new album and Tim still owns Hellcat Records which is a part of epitaph. so all of you idiots out there so worried about appearance stop saying your punk cause you dont even know what the fucking word means. Rancid did not sell out, Rancid is doing what they need to do the get their message out and make a great album.

yeah rancid are good, but you also have to remember the old bands like discharge, dead kennedys, conflict, the ejected, i could name hundreds. if youre into rancid then thats great, but you have to listen to them becuase you like them, not cause youre listening to what you think is punk (good charlote, blink 182, green day) and youve been told rancid are a punk band. i could debate forever whats punk and whats not, but that would be a waste of time and completly useless to anyone. all i know is what i listen to is good, and a vast majority of is in my opinion punk.

Rancid es una gran banda punk, puede que la mejor y sus componentes son muy muy buenos. Las voces de Tim y Lars son agresivas y buenisimas. El bajo de matt suena como ninguno, es uno de los mejores bajistas del mundo. Y brett es el bateria perfecto para ese grupo. Sin duda un gran grupo. RANCID RULES, and TRANSPLANTS RULES.
