if they get a new singer I hope they change the band's name, because there's no Queen without Freddie, and although I love Innuendo,I think Queen lost a lot of inspiration in the eighties, then I'm not sure they can make a good rock album now.

Queen are simply brilliant. THE DEFINITIVE ROCK BAND. Brian May is one of the best guitarists ever - any one else whose played God Save the Queen + guitar solo on top of Buckingham Palace raise their hands. No? I thought not! Bohemian Rhapsody is brilliant, my friend can sing it, headbang and air guitar to it all the way through, but you need to get him drunk first. He loves Queen to! We Will Rock You is simply fantastic, the only drum beat I could ever play! I agree that Queen should get back together. There aren't enough Rock Bands around these days.

i luv them.There`s a gosship that they are goin` to join.I think they shouldn`t.
Don`t think the wrong thing? but they`ve made an impression with Fred, and I don`t want to dissapoint. You know? they were a team, they were one body....and when a new man comes? he ll step in the warm place? i mean that he `d not be able to replace the genius.
And I` d luv to talk with those, who`ve read the book of Ахундова.
We can talk bout our same opinions or argument.......I just wanna tell someone about HIM

I am so ticked off that i was not alive in the years before 1989 because i am a teen who loves queen and can only get her hands on the greatest hits album.....i never saw any of the clips and don't know who the band members are, all i know is their music speaks to me and i know one of them died.....he was a good singer and from what i've read, his name was Freddie murcury.....it's hard to find Queen fans my age and every1 thinks i'm weird 4 liking them.
My absolute fave is Another One Bites the Dust....man, those riffs rock.
I also love Bohemian Rhapsody and Crazy Little Thing Called love.
Other good'uns are Killer Queen, Fat Bottomed Girls, Bicycle Race (my friend doesn't like it), You're My Best Friend, Don't Stop Me Now, Somebody to Love, Now I'm Here, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, Flash, Seven Seas of Rhye, We Will Rock You, and We Are the Champions.
I don't love these ones, I only like them :Save Me, and Play the Game.
I listen to a lot of popular music and nothing (except Delta Goodrem) beats Queen, because those songs are just impossible to get sick of, no matter how many times you listen to them.

Hey there. I love Queen. I've got all of their albums. People think I'm weird cos I'm 17 and listen to only "old" music. Truth is, I haven't listened to the radio in years, except the classic rock stations. I hate all the new music I hear from just being in public places, or that my friends have me listen to. As to Queen... you could say I'm a hardcore fan. As I said I have all their albums, dozens of videos, I collect all sorts of stuff. I went to London and saw the musical. It was fantastic! I took a friend who'd never really heard Queen and she loved it too. About Queen reforming... Brian said it's not too unlikely that they'll come out with a new album, and I think Roger is up for it, too. John is out of the picture (retired), and Freddie obviously wouldn't be able to, being dead and all. But, a Brian- Roger thing may well work. The 46664 thing has definitely sparked some creative juices flowing in both of them. Brian is my favourite, by the way. He's not the best guitarist in the world-- who really is?-- but he's damn good at what he does. It takes real talent and creativity to make your guitar sound like all those other instruments (sitar, violin, cello, trumpet, piccolo, clairinet, flute, etc.) without effects pedals and digital technology. He plays with a lot of emotion and has a broad range of writing styles. A very capable musician all aroud, playing piano, ukelele, toy koto, harp, and many more instruments, as well as guitar and bass. And, the nicest man I have encountered. I've not met him, but he's answered 3 or 4 of my emails and has been very sweet, charming, attentive, and unassuming each time. I've also met Yngwie Malmsteen, briefly, and he was very polite and accomodating as well. He's no sweetheart but was rather kind. I think he's immensely talented as well. We Queen fans have a tight- knit community and we are very supportive of each other. For more information on Brian, visit his website, www.brianmay.com where he actually contributes by adding entries, articles, photos, and answering emails, etc. I am also on the Brian may yahoo group. All us fans are really supportive of each other and have a lot of fun! join in! Lots of love (sorry for the lengthy post!)
P.S. feel free to email me!

by any chance could any one of you tell me the last and first names of the people in Queen, plus what they did, because I only know of Freddie Mercury (he was the lead singer wasn't he?), Brian May (did he sing some songs? Was he the guitarist?) and someone with the last name of Deacon.....the one that sang another one bites the dust.
Since I only have the names under each song on the song list at the back of the album cover, I don't really know much about them.....please help a young Queen fan in need.
I would much apreciate it.
Feel welcome to message me.

Freddie Mercury - singer and pianist (also acoustic guitar in Crazy Little Thing Called Love)
Brian May - guitarist (yeah, he did sing some songs)
John Deacon - bassist (he wrote Another One Bites the Dust but Freddie sang it)
Roger Taylor - drummer
What's truly amazing about Queen is that all 4 of them have written number 1 hits...
>>By Sk8a H8a (Tuesday, 6 Jan 2004 17:11)
Ta.......and how many No.1 hits did they make all together?
On my album which is the Greatest Hits (UK edition), there are 17 songs.........does that mean all their number one singles are on there, or just the most popular songs.....i like all of them.
Anyone can answer.
>>By just_slightly_insane (Thursday, 8 Jan 2004 00:56)
Queen's first number one was in 1975 - Bohemian Rhapsody. There last number one was in 1991 with Innuendo

Talent-it`s good, but not enough.....When I listen particular group, I pay attention not only to their songs? voices or I don`t know, but to their personality, their philosofy(hope i spelt right), their way of living......I found very interesting to read about religion in Queen`s music.......Every movement has it`s own meaning......Kinda body language.....It`s always interesting to learn new things, espesially about the person I adore....
>>By julia nina (Thursday, 15 Jan 2004 14:05)
Yea, i suppose - when i was talkin about talent -some people put freddie down just because he was gay! I am not gay myself, but i havnt got a problem wiv dem, but freddie shouldnt b put down just cos of that, he was a great singer - good on hi and the rest of queen!

Can't really say much about them that hasn't already been said.
