Hey... I was informed that this was my favorite musician, Dave Grohl's side project...
So... What do they sound like...??

yep. . .it's dave grohl's allright. . .
and the first album is sooooo good. . .exactly what you'd expect from him. . .
and the best part is all of the guest appearances on the album. . .my favorites are lemmy from motorhead. . .and max cavalera from soulfly. . .
definitely give probot a try. . .
