Powder Finger have brought back the 70s/80s with music that not only sounds Australian, but rocks. The new album has something for everyone who loves good-old fasion rock and blues. I like 'Baby I got you on my mind' and 'Sunsets' but the songs that have guitar solos that resemble Jimmy Pages imortal sound and Angus Youngs buzzing licks are worth listening to. Fantastic new album by a great band from Brisbane, Queensland.

Powderfinger formed prior to 1992.

In 1993 they released their first recording The BuleEP. Also in 1993 they released their second EP called Transfusion.

In 1994 they first play at the BDO. In 1994 their first album Parables for Wooden Ears was released. etc etc. I hope thats a bit of help 4 some of u guys
