Any idea where to acquire PT gear like stickers - T-shirts OTHER than at one of their concerts?

Just thought I'd try to set up a tab exchange on this forum, as I've tried on another site. Any guitarists out there interested in exchanging tasks for the tabbing of PT songs? I've tabbed out a few including "Trains", Lips Of Ashes", "Pure Narcotic" and many other PT compsitions. I tab mainly the ones that are easily accessible on the acoustic as that is my main instrument.
I'm offering up my most recent tab "Heart Attack In A Layby" to get the ball rolling, I hope someone will make a few improvements on this tab or perhaps offer up their own. I can post more in the future if there is any interest. Mike

copy and paste into Notepad and all will line up nicely(Courier Font)

Heartattack in a Layby
Verse 1
I pull off the road
East of Baldock and Ashford
Feeling for my cell
In the light from the dashboard

Hissing from the road
The smell of rain in the air con
Maybe check the news
Or just put a tape on

Chorus (not sure what to call it!)

Lighting up a smoke
I've got this feeling inside me
Don't feel too good

Verse 2
If I close my eyes
And fell asleep in this layby
Would it all subside
The fever pushing the day by

Chorus 2
Motor window wind
I could do with some fresh air
Can't breathe too well

(She waits for me. Home waits for me.)

verse 3
I guess I should go now
(She's waiting to make up)
To tell me she's sorry
(And how much she missed me)
I guess I'm just burnt out
(I really should slow down)
I'm perfectly fine but
(I just need to lie down)

We'll grow old together
We'll grow old together
We'll grow old together....

Keep talking about these guys! Porcupine Tree needs to be heard! They Define progressive music with every album! Or they Define exactly what this kid likes to hear! Albums that flow together prefectly and always something new to admire. Stupid Dream and LBS are just brilliant. Ummmmm...buy them if you can.

In Abesentia is the best album I've heard that isn't by Tool or Opeth. Amazing band.

I've recently started listening to this band. Already they're one of my favourite bands... Steve Wilson is a genius.

>>By Obfuscated   (Thursday, 23 Dec 2004 15:56)

Steven Wilson is indeed a very good musician, whose band, to my opinion, is one of those that can fill the vacant spot Pink Floyd left behind when they split up (allthough I recently read that Pink Floyd started over again - WITH Roger Waters).

'Prodigal,' from In Absentia, reminds me so much of Pink Floyd. In fact it is surely a Floyd tribute.

from every new piece i here something more vivid , more ahhhhh
words cannot express what im listening too. well ive only heard like 4 pieces from what is suppose to be "progressive rock bands", but i dont care about genre classification.
"deadwing" , "shallow" from porcupine tree and "hope leaves" and "in my time of need" from opeth ......SO FAR SO GOOD.
ive been told that blackfield good too.

though blackfield is supposed to be kinda pop/rock i have to say that they rock as hell! i´ve seen them live last year and it was really great.very good musicians ..not only steve and aviv ! also the drummer left a big impression on me. however, it was one of three concerts i´ve been to around that time and though blackfield isn´t on top of my list as far as bands are concerned i gotta say that their concert was the best in that "concert-period" of mine. i was "paralysed" when i went out of there..hmm..well...maybe by the fact that i talked to steve for quite a bit after the gig !? ..haha :-)

The first album I heard was Stupid Dream. After that I was hooked. I have the whole catalog and every addition was an absolute joy. Signify, with its second cd of out takes and extras is just amazing. And after you let Lightbulb Sun settle in on your mind, you will listen to all music and remember it as before you heard this album or after. Its that good.
So what happened with Deadwing???? The only disappointment in the lot.
I saw these guys in Boulder in the spring when they were promoting this new album and that concert was as disappointing as the new release.
They played again at the same theater in the fall and I tried again and that was a good decision. They pulled out all the stops and played from every album EXCEPT Deadwing and the show was great.
So, are they done creatively or did I miss something in that new album?

the first entry in the discussion was:
"in this moment, the best band in the world probably"

now, i'm here 5 years later, and i think exactly the same :)
i'm just getting familiar with the new album, but i'm still absolutely in love with Stupid dream and Lightbulb sun :)

i send greeting to Krite :)
