| Discussion: Patty Larkin I just recently discovered this very talented musician/songwriter quite by accident. I went into a music store, had a browse and the picture on the front looked SO like a friend of mine I had to buy it! Not the kind of thing I usually do, but I'm SO glad I did! It's the Red=Luck CD, and every song is a classic. The atmosphere of the album is gentle, but the writing is strong, bold and original. Her guitar playing is intricate and tender, as is her vocals and lyric writing. Very evocative of late summer nights sitting up drinking a bottle of wine. I'm now trying to figure out which of her retrospective albums to get next. Any recommendations from anyone?
