Discussion: Pain Teens what happend to them? i didnt start hearing their stuff till a few years ago and i heard they broke up? are they from south US? fucking great band >>By christy i don't know anything about this band. so, i hope anybody out there please tell me about this band. thanks ---- bobp@skali.com >>By bobp the pain teens are probably one of the greatest unknown underground bands. some real incredible stuff. they are from Houston TX, (believe it or not). Scott Ayers is the mastermind behind it all along with Bliss Blood and her dark vocals. after the Pain Teens, Scott Ayers played in Truth Decay, nothing spectacular, but ok to watch live. if you have never heard any of thier stuff, check out "Destroy me Lover" or "Beast of Dreams". they are the easiest to listen to. the other albums are more aquired taste. Bliss Blood appears in the Melvins "the crybaby" album. as well as work with a new york band Exit-13, "smoking songs"(or something like that). the Pain Teens were on Trance Syndicate records. a record label started by King Koffee of the Butthole Surfers. If you like the Pain Teens, then check out almost any band on this label. you won't be disappointed. >>By jimakane
