Discussion: Otis Redding

He had, and still has to this day a distinct sound that no one else comes close to. No matter where you are or whats going on, when I here his music I just stop and say"that's Otis singing". He sings from the heart . he is truly missed.

He is a really good singer. He feels everyone's heart up with Joy when he sings. My Grandmother like him more. He died right on her birthday if he were still alive they would be the same age. She says he shouldn't have died because he would have been sucessful. He really is a trully good singer. Kids my age would care less about him but I care much about him.

Otis music is strong and real, it sends out a message about feelings, that goes deep and pulls out the rough spots to an understanding of expressing and exploring the minds of people. His music should be appreciated and honored.

Otis blue is an excellent place to start if your interested. It's a collection of originals and covers.
Great voice, brilliant interpretations.
If you like southern soul, you really should own it already.

Light...Youre a fucking idiot

I'm certainly seconding what Lloydy's just said. What Light said is a waste of space, & he does himself complete disservice.
