Does anyone know about the death of the model on the Honey album?
I heard that she was strangled during the recording of Love rollercoaster and her screams is heard on the song.

They should do an interview with the Ohio Players and ask them what's with the scream of a woman in the song Love Rollercoaser

They are simply one of the greatest bands of all time!
The Players and Sugar in particular have been quite an influence on me. May God bless them and I thank them for all the good music they have made.

As a fellow musician myself, I've been a strong supporter of The Ohio Players since the 70's. Those strong midwest rhythms have been instilled in the hearts and souls of black musicians all over the world. I've had the pleasure of enjoying their live shows on several occassions, and to see them today is truely a pleasure. My hats off to Diamond and Sugarfoot for Keeping the Funk Alive!. Much continued success to the one of the most exciting, and most unique R&B bands in the world. The Ohio Players!!

Much Love!!

Gotta leave a word or two on the cats who can play jazz/funk/rock at the same time and make it all blend perfectly. They had this mellow, laid back style but knew how to throw some hard playing at you as well. Gotta pay homage to these fellas.
