I'm doing a research paper on the influence on women in pop culture. What I want to know is if anyone out therre finds this particular female artist to be a positive or negative role model for women? How so?

I think that Gwen Stephani is definately a positive influence for women, it's all about confidence in yourself. She was very gracious to the audience and even had two encores. Her shows are very uplifting and just a lot of fun. Saw several kids at the latest one at Reliant Stadium in Houston.

Yeh i totally agree with "smart ass". Nodoubt was soo kickass but now they kinda suck. I love their old style. i dissapprove of their new "rappy" tunes but i still love Gwen. shes the shit!!!! one of my biggest idols.

ok you lot who are sayin new no doubt suck should learn to accept change! i loved the old no doubt... but the new no doubt are just as good right? and it's not all about gwen, however much i love her the band have got a fairly huge part in the music as well... so 'Nu' that technically isn't just her song now is it? all their songs have got this ...thing... that makes them so catchy! everysong is great! Gwen has this great voice like no other. Shes got great taste for clothes too...

I think that No Doubt are the best, all their music is great and i think they should definetly release some more tracks off Rock Steady especially Making Out its fab, and so is Running!

I like No Doubt's old stuff more than the new stuff. I like the "Don't Speak" sound. But I can't listen to "Underneath It All" for more than 30 seconds, if I do, I'll pass out. I agree with Mollypunk about the rappy tunes, it sux. by the way, you ppl don't think that Gwen will ditch the band, right? cuz if she's gonna do that, then it will be like the "Don't Speak" video. how ironic...

no doubt now sucks! i loved thier old ska glorydays stuff. the un4gettable rythym that was them around 92' -95' Ah good stuff. since return of saturn came out they lost my attention. Gwen sold out and brought the band down w/ her.You so called fans of ND (that bearly discovred ND) have not heard the potential of ND untill u hear the selftiled cd: NO DOUBT . ALSO listen to the beacon street cd. make sure while listening to the old stuff u hear, " a little something refreshing" a very good song, it screams SKA!!!
