Haven't heard it.

Hang on, who said earlier that Trent's talent is nowhere near Manson's. It's nowhere near because it's a long long LONG way beyond Manson's talent. I hope that's what youw ere saying.

Personally I think Reznor is one of the best lyric-writers in history. I'm Looking Forward to Joining You Finally, those lyrics are just sublime.

And the Fragile is better than the Downward Spiral and PHM put together!!!

Nine Inch Nails are one of most brutally honest performers you will ever witness. Trent Reznor's melancholy lyrics fused with gut wrenching mechanical noise is quite simply the most harrowing music yet so beautifully crafted.

I grew up listening to the Sisters of Mercy and Throbbing Gristle as those were the kind of bands my dad listened to. I really didn't care much for it at the time but then came Nine Inch Nails and there was elements of both with the predominant 80's synth pop to keep it all together. Nothing much is different now. The synth pop has been replaced with grunge guitar and melancholy strings. Sounds of machines crushing machines replaces to dated drum macine. But it's a constantly progressing realm that Reznor takes us into and it only leaves you thinking, "What happens next? Come on man - finish the fucking story!"

And on that note, With Teeth is probably going to be to most anticipated release this year for any other likeminded fans.

I couldn't have put it better - NIN are fantastic.

Every Day Is Exactly The Same
With Teeth

Yep, seen it. And howbout Dave Grohl doing the live drums on With Teeth, awesome or what!

I know he's been talking about the brutality and what not, but I sure hope Trent hasn't forgotton to include the quiet, emotionally harrowing track he fits on each album (Something I Can Never Have/Hurt/The Great Below), as they always turn out to be the best song.

And there's a little teaser on the official site, about thirty seconds long. It sounds bl dy brilliant!

Listen to first single from With Teeth, The Hand That Feeds at this link:

http://www.lifelessface.net/other/thtf_high.mp3

It's pretty good, nothing amazingly new, but it's catchy.

>>By Stinkfist   (Friday, 25 Feb 2005 10:19)

>>By cruel_portrait   (Saturday, 26 Feb 2005 23:51)

The link didn't work for me!

No problem, I'll be buying the album as soon as the nearest record store gets it. I can't wait...

>>By CHARLOS   (Sunday, 27 Feb 2005 07:17)

does anybody want to buy 2 tickets to the May 28th show in arizona

>>By Machine_of_Undertow   (Friday, 4 Mar 2005 00:37)

Good luck everyone. I'd leap at the chance, only I live thousands of miles away. A friend of my brother tried to get tickets, was on two phones and the website the moment they went on sale and they'd sold out by the time she got through apparently.

>>By Flagg   (Friday, 4 Mar 2005 19:29)

i would soooo want the tickets, i hate living so far away :(
i think they should come here!!!!
i love them sooo much, and it helps that Trent is hot :)

>>By nite nite   (Monday, 7 Mar 2005 00:16)

I heard The Hand That Feeds! It's brilliant, and surprisingly upbeat for NIN. For now the tension is rising... Come onn With Teeth..........

>>By Flagg   (Wednesday, 13 Apr 2005 01:04)

yeah, i LOVE it, i heard it the other day, cant w8 for the album :D

>>By nite nite   (Wednesday, 13 Apr 2005 11:59)

Anyone heard Right Where it Belongs yet? OMG, what an amazing song, wonderful and meaningful lyrics, and the end of the song is so well executed, it made me almost weep. I hope I can get the dual-disc version when the album comes out, to give some use to my 5.1 stereo :P

>>By [SchISm]   (Wednesday, 13 Apr 2005 13:21)

I've forbidden myself from downloading any of the new songs, or even listening to samples (apart from THTF). Must...wait...for...album.

Although NIN did play a couple of new tracks when I saw them live two weeks ago, which was by the way, the best show I've been to for over a year. Jeordie sounded a little off occasionally, but Trent...is it wrong that I'm finding myself more and more physically attracted to Trent with each passing year?

>>By Stinkfist   (Wednesday, 13 Apr 2005 18:47)

You're not alone Stinkfist. If anyone was to alter my sexuality........

>>By Flagg   (Wednesday, 13 Apr 2005 19:36)

i wanna see them live :(
i never download music, i only saw the vid coz it was on tv.
and it is WAY ok to find Trent hot, and its even better to find him hotter and hotter :D
lol, it would be funny if he read this :)

>>By nite nite   (Thursday, 14 Apr 2005 00:19)

i managed to listen to the hand that feeds once, alongside with seeing the video! i was so stunned that i don't remember anything, except of course that it was very good! but i was very shocked, really, i was eating my breakfast with my grandma, and was going through the channels. so, i am going through mtv hits (the last channel you expect to see NIN), and i'm like seeing Trent! And i realised it's a brand new song and went in an euphory, lol:) but, it was good, it was very good!

>>By Eli_Molko   (Thursday, 14 Apr 2005 01:12)

yeah, i dont remember much of it, i too was just looking tho channels, and when i saw it, i txt 2 of my m8s and sat and watched it, with the sound way up, and didnt listen to anyone who came into the room to talk to me :D

>>By nite nite   (Thursday, 14 Apr 2005 02:39)

I don't download music illegally anymore either, 'cos of viruses, but it's on the official website, and I doubt they'd would want to give viruses to us fans :) Anyway, yeah it was great and... Trent's got incredibly muscly!

>>By Flagg   (Thursday, 14 Apr 2005 20:12)

Don't get me started on the muscles. It was testing enough watching him and his biceps twirl about onstage for several hours covered in a thin film of sweat without me giving into my urges to do...things. I lost count of the number of times I had to close my eyes and think of Cristina Scabbia to sedate myself that night.

Aaaaanyway, being as I am the god of up to date NIN crap, check out this lil interview with Mr Reznor, it's pretty cool. He's certainly mellowed out since the long hair/moustache awkwardness of the TDS era. He almost seems normal.

(its a video by the way, and put in a http:// before the mfile part.)
