Erm.... Trent Reznor has good hair? Danny Lohner looks like Brad Pitt?
>>By Flagg (Friday, 22 Oct 2004 19:28)

Shouldn't the new album be out soon?! I heard Dave Grohl is helping on it...
>>By Eli_Molko (Saturday, 27 Nov 2004 16:15)
I heard that too! I thought I'd heard it wrong for ages, like we'd been talking about another band or something.
No surprise really. Dave Grohl is everywhere and works with everyone. He drummed on David Bowie's Heathen.
>>By Flagg (Saturday, 27 Nov 2004 19:43)
yeah, i know...you're completely right- Dave truly is everywhere! But i like the guy very much actually. i think he's very talanted! anyways... when the hell is the new album coming out?! i am desperate to hear it! It is really coming, right?!
>>By Eli_Molko (Sunday, 28 Nov 2004 00:20)
Im A Newcomer to N.I.N and i have heard alot of things about the new album one thing that is rediculous that there going to play a britney spears song backwards with the neptunes rock star song on it wich is rediculous and i also heard snop dogg is going to be on it, and is trent friends with manson.........i hope not because his talent aint even close to mansons, and geordie white is helping out on the new album also
>>By cruel_portrait (Tuesday, 30 Nov 2004 19:48)
britney!? snoop dog?! god, i am soooooo praying for you to be wrong:))))) Damn! i heard about it that it is going to be a lot more minimalistic!
>>By Eli_Molko (Tuesday, 30 Nov 2004 21:49)
You should all go to a website called The Meathead Perspective. It seems to have the latest on NIN while constantly making fun of dear Mr. Reznor and complaining about the fact that nothing ever gets released.
>>By Flagg (Tuesday, 30 Nov 2004 22:09)
Snoop Dogg will not appear on a NIN album, thats ridiculous. I'll eat my iPod if he does.
As for the Britney Spears thing, I hope that isn't a rumor. Just imagine the kind of sick twisted havoc Trent could put one of her tracks through. Baby Help Me I'm In Hell One More Time, that would be great.
>>By Stinkfist (Tuesday, 30 Nov 2004 22:49)
>Snoop Dogg will not appear on a NIN album
I dunno. He's worked with garage stars before I think.
>>By Flagg (Friday, 3 Dec 2004 20:58)
Apparently the new album is called With Teeth. Not Bleedthrough as we'd been told. That Reznor is so lazy.
>>By Flagg (Friday, 3 Dec 2004 20:59)

(refering to DEATH's post from 13 february)
DEATH: You probably won't come back but... that is so cool! (I know I'm sounding like a teenybopper) I would probably fall off my chair and die if I got an e-mail from Cevin Key.
... The Fragile is much better than the downward spiral. But my favorite is Pretty Hate Machine.
>>By bleurgh (Monday, 13 Dec 2004 22:06)
I bought 'The Fragile' yesterday, and this is the first time that I will listen to the whole album.
Now I just need to get 'Fixed', and with that I would have all the full lenght albums and their respective manipulations as well...
Oh, and about the new album, Jordie White (a.k.a. Twiggy Ramirez) will be playing bass guitar for the recording sessions, and Dave Grohl is doing the drums.
But you all knew that...hehehe... :)
>>By CHARLOS (Wednesday, 15 Dec 2004 02:12)
It's coming out in March 2005.
>>By Lazer (Wednesday, 15 Dec 2004 03:48)
really? cool! that's the month of my birthday!:) i will have it as a present from someone:)))))))
>>By Eli_Molko (Thursday, 16 Dec 2004 01:11)
Well, i think next year's going to be awesome. New albums from NIN, Tool, Tori Amos, I just can't wait! I wish I could get The Downward Spiral Deluxe Edition, I'll have to look for it on the internet, since i can't find it around here. About the new album, I really think it will turn out great, i don't know why, but i have this feeling :P

I learned to know about NIN on ( believe it or not) MTV. Back in 1990/91 MTV was promoting, almost pushing i would say, 'Head like a hole' from the Pretty Hate Machine. Day in and out they gave the ability not to miss the hot new item. I bought the PHM, and the day was born to become a fan. THE big surprise was the 'EP' named Broken where Trent covers a song of Adam Ant. The Downward Spiral is brilliant. Love the mix of electronics/ metal/ psychedelics. And his concert was a real kickin' one! Thought i was in the
middle of my very first earthquake!
But i'm not a mister selfdestruct and when i'm sick of living i would never ask anyone to kill me. I'd prefer to do the action myself. That's my only problem with Trent: the lyrics. Nevertheless his music is fab and it's great music to 'dance' on.
By the way : does anyone know the song 'The perfect drug' ? I have it on tape wich now is in state of dissolution. But i love the song & wanna have it on cd.
>>By Sanvean (Thursday, 6 Jan 2005 23:26)
"The Perfect Drug" is from the soundtrack to the movie "Lost Highway"
>>By thom (Friday, 7 Jan 2005 02:06)
Oh, and there's also a single out with remixes of "the perfect drug" but it doesn't include the original version. And as far as I'm concerned these mixes are crap. So you'd better go for the soundtrack
>>By thom (Friday, 7 Jan 2005 02:10)
Yeah they really are. Most of the single remix albums are great, Closer To God is good enough to be re-packaged and sold as a full-priced album as far as I'm concerned, but The Perfect Drug does suck. The original song is too straight forward and catchy to be messed around with too much, the remixes are pointless.
Really psyched for the new album now, it's gotta be good seeing as it will be competing with Tool and (hopefully) Deftones for album of the year.
>>By Stinkfist (Friday, 7 Jan 2005 18:47)
Unless there's a surprise Radiohead album next year, With Teeth should have no competition as far as I'm concerned.
Yes, get the Lost Highway soundtrack everyone! Driver Down is on it, brilliant. And Bowie!
>>By Flagg (Friday, 7 Jan 2005 20:30)
I have that 'Lost Highway' soundtrack, it includes some Smashing Pumkins also...
I just remembered something (that is completely pointless).
I have the Halo 13, and I know it's out of print now...I wonder if it will be worth more than the $3 dollars that I paid for it a while ago.
Oh, and I was able to get Nine Inch Nails' version of 'Dead Souls', although I still like the original better (come on, it's Joy Division!), Trent did a great job covering that song.
>>By CHARLOS (Saturday, 8 Jan 2005 08:02)
I love the NIN version all the same, Trent has a flair for cover versions. His cover of Gary Numan's 'Metal' is awesome.
>>By Stinkfist (Saturday, 8 Jan 2005 17:29)
Absolutely. I have to say I prefer the Joy Division 'Dead Souls'. I heard Reznor's first though.
Charlos what was Halo 13? Before the Fragile....?
>>By Flagg (Saturday, 8 Jan 2005 19:26)
'The Day The World Went Away', that's Halo 13. It includes just 3 songs.
And yes, his version of 'Metal' it's very laudable.
>>By CHARLOS (Sunday, 9 Jan 2005 01:25)
did you hear the new remix of him?
ist the worse thing i have heard.....its even worse than angle.....i hope the album will be better!
