it shouldn't matter what you believe in.
people from all walks of life can appreciate good music and a talented musician.

>>By mon   (Sunday, 6 Jun 2004 23:13)

in case you wonder what i mean by good music: music that indicates an emotional and intellectual utilization of composition, instrument and/or lyrics.

>>By mon   (Sunday, 6 Jun 2004 23:17)

and a talented musician is found alongside good music.

>>By mon   (Sunday, 6 Jun 2004 23:19)

I know only the song called "Wish", because LinkinPark performed with that song on their concert Rock am Ring... It is very great song....

i listen to NIN from some months now,and i think they're simply great!
i was more into Placebo before, but their music is far too depressing.NIN is different-the music is deep and heavy, but at the same time,it kinda helps you get through the hard times-it doesn't make you more depressed.:))))))

uhm,Trent is an extremely talanted person,he really amazes me.it will be so exciting to know a person like him!

and as i saw there was a discussion about the people who say he's god,and people who say he's antichrist, may be i should say what i think about it too.
i cannot see where's the problem in saying that he's god.to some people he may be god!a personal god.k,i'm probably saying bulshit, but people, come on-what's the fucking problem-to a person who cannot find the words to describe how much he/she appreciates other, the word god is the appropriate one.
i used to say Brian Molko(to the ones who don't know-he's the vocalist of Placebo)is god.i was just so crazy about him,and fascinated by everything he says...his music was going straight into my heart, and i was feeling he was the only one who understood me.so,i used to say he's god.
and to the ones who say Trent is an antichrist of some sort-come on people-how can you be so stupid and narrow-minded?!have you actually tried to listen to his music,or understand the lyrics?!i guess no!

>>By Eli_Molko   (Sunday, 4 Jul 2004 02:13)

and,damn,Trent is sexy!!!

>>By Eli_Molko   (Thursday, 8 Jul 2004 01:12)

I love NIN!!

They are so awesome... I am working on getting The Downward Spiral and And All That Could Have Been...

>>By Grazyl   (Tuesday, 14 Sep 2004 03:22)

doesn't anybody listen to NIN here? come on-share some opinions!!!

>>By Eli_Molko   (Friday, 8 Oct 2004 00:48)

I listen to NIN, Eli. I don't have many opinions on them, they're good but I wouldn't say they're one of my favourite bands. I used to like the video clip for Closer when I was a youngsta because it had a nude chick in it!

>>By spikee   (Friday, 8 Oct 2004 01:12)

That's cool... I wish I could've seen it... I LOVE the song... That is the song that REALLY turned me over to them...

>>By Grazyl   (Friday, 8 Oct 2004 02:28)

NIN are one of my favorite bands ever. I have every single CD Trent has released, so I know NIN inside out. Nothing comes close to them in the industrial rock genre, in fact very few come close in the entire rock genre. Flawless. If you want to get into them, these are my recommendations:

1. The Downward Spiral
2. Pretty Hate Machine
3. Broken
4. The Fragile
5. Further Down The Spiral

>>By Stinkfist   (Friday, 8 Oct 2004 11:44)

Stinkfist's reccomandations are perfect- anyone who wants to get into them should hear those albums!

>>By Eli_Molko   (Sunday, 10 Oct 2004 20:28)

Yeah... Definitely the first 2...

>>By Grazyl   (Monday, 11 Oct 2004 13:06)

Stinkfist.... thats a damn good song

>>By spikee   (Tuesday, 12 Oct 2004 01:08)

Sorry... I do not recall it...

>>By Grazyl   (Tuesday, 12 Oct 2004 03:26)

Stinkfist by Tool.

>>By spikee   (Tuesday, 12 Oct 2004 03:34)

Does anyone apart from me like The Fragile better than The Downward Spiral?

'I'm Looking Forward to Joining You, Finally' has some of the best lyrics ever written and Just Like You Imagined has some of the best music. : )

>>By Flagg   (Friday, 15 Oct 2004 19:44)

actually, i like the fragile better than the downward spiral...:))))))

>>By Eli_Molko   (Friday, 15 Oct 2004 19:54)

I think all three of their full-length albums are pretty equal, but they're all so different it's hard to say which is better. The Downward Spiral is very angry and heavy, The Fragile is more sad and depressing, Pretty Hate Machine is a mixture of both, but with a more 80's dance music style to it. If I had to pick one, I'd go with TDS, but all of them are excellent. Can't wait for #4 either.

And yeah, I named myself after the Tool song, because as spikee said, IT'S A DAMN GOOD SONG!!!

>>By Stinkfist   (Saturday, 16 Oct 2004 13:44)

Bleedthrough. Can't wait - it better be good, lol. I heard they left New Orleans where they were making it and then their equipment truck rolled over or something. *shrug*

I do think they have done some notsogood stuff. Some of Pretty Hate Machine didn't really have an impact on me, and Fixed (a remix album of Broken) is just kind of..... garbled. But The Fragile makes up for it a thousand times.

>>By Flagg   (Saturday, 16 Oct 2004 13:51)

NIN are one good band.

>>By Flagg   (Thursday, 21 Oct 2004 22:40)

aham,NIN are definitely a good gooooooood band!:)))))

>>By Eli_Molko   (Thursday, 21 Oct 2004 23:33)

NIN are one goooooooooood baaaaaaaaand

Is anyone going to actually say something?

>>By spikee   (Friday, 22 Oct 2004 02:17)

i don't know...they're all too busy discussing Vile Vallo!

>>By Eli_Molko   (Friday, 22 Oct 2004 08:21)

I have never ever heard of Ville Vallo or HIM, and I think it's better that way.

>>By spikee   (Friday, 22 Oct 2004 12:20)

well...i can't say anything bad about him,or HIM...i just sais that the main discussions are about them!:))))
anyways: NINE INCH NAILS ARE THE BEST!
come on people,say something!!!!
