I don't have many opinions on them, they're good but I wouldn't say they're one of my favourite bands. That is the song that REALLY turned me over to them... >>By Grazyl NIN are one of my favorite bands ever. I have every single CD Trent has released, so I know NIN inside out. Nothing comes close to them in the industrial rock genre, in fact very few come close in the entire rock genre. Flawless. If you want to get into them, these are my recommendations: 1. The Downward Spiral 2. Pretty Hate Machine 3. Broken 4. The Fragile 5. 'I'm Looking Forward to Joining You, Finally' has some of the best lyrics ever written and Just Like You Imagined has some of the best music. : ) >>By Flagg actually, i like the fragile better than the downward spiral...:)))))) >>By Eli_Molko I think all three of their full-length albums are pretty equal, but they're all so different it's hard to say which is better. The Downward Spiral is very angry and heavy, The Fragile is more sad and depressing, Pretty Hate Machine is a mixture of both, but with a more 80's dance music style to it. If I had to pick one, I'd go with TDS, but all of them are excellent. Can't wait for #4 either. And yeah, I named myself after the Tool song, because as spikee said, IT'S A DAMN GOOD SONG!!! >>By Stinkfist Bleedthrough. Can't wait - it better be good, lol. I heard they left New Orleans where they were making it and then their equipment truck rolled over or something. *shrug* I do think they have done some notsogood stuff. Some of Pretty Hate Machine didn't really have an impact on me, and Fixed (a remix album of Broken) is just kind of..... garbled.
