I have no idea what happened to this band. seems like they just vanished of the face of the earth after the great debut album. Too bad, I really loved them.

The band are currently in the STUDIO working on the follow-up to 2001's 'Finelines' and 2002's 'Betweenthelines', apparently titled "17 MOVEMENTS IN THE KEY OF D MINOR".
which would be about time................

I loved thier debut. I think it's really awesome how they can incorporate instrumentals into the album without making it drag. There's something about them that feels really weird though. I get used to listening to certain albums/bands and I can figure out what thier particular style is. I still haven't done that with My Vitriol. Everytime I listen to the album is still sounds alien to me. I should find some b-sides or live performances.

They go back on late eighties begin nineties bands like Medicine, who had abit the same sound. I can tell you tough that even if they may sound like a live band on the cd, the live performance doesn't sound like what they do on the cd, but is great.
