I've heard Flat Beat and Flat 55 (which shows up on Swayzak's Fabric 11, highly recommended for retro electro and deep house) and they both sound like acid lines from the early 90's. The tracks are highly unoriginal and lack development. The Flat Beat video, however, totally kicks ass and has me chuckling just thinking about it.

There's plenty of crunchy acid house/techno out there for those curious.
