Which was a light family entertainment show, in which Noel and his crew did many humours things to unsuspecting members of the public and both A and B list celebrities. In one series Noel dressed up as a big pink alien with yellow spots. He would then wind up celebrities and give then useless awards called Gotchas. Mr Blobby was in the house party for a long while. Doing his Gotchas and after a while he appeared doing other stupid, annoying, what can only be described as pants throughout the whole show. When the house party was axed. The big pink thing was out of a job. Some insane person picked up on this and saw it as a opportunity to make a lot of money by releasing a Christmas tune. It was released a week or two before Christmas and was marketed towards children. Of who the obese pink monster appealed too. Children and parents bought up the record and it sawed to the top of the charts. Giving Blobby a Christmas number one.
