I had never heard any of their music before, but the name was appealing to me. Something familiar, so I decided to take a risk and buy an album. Lo and behold, I am now a big fan of theirs. I want to be Modest Mouse

>>By ramalhinho   (Wednesday, 29 Jan 2003 17:26)

like everyone else on this page i am too in love with modest mouse. cowboy dan, doin' the cockroach, teeth like god's shoeshine, head south, whenever you breathe out, i breathe in, never ending math equation, i came as a rat, and you're the good things are some of my favorite songs by mm. i live for the next mm record.

i've been sparing much time listening to this album FTAI, and i've been growing a wider awareness of the depth and beauty of their lyrics. now I understand you people, even if I'm not a native speaker. They're very much welcome here, in my country: we want them here quite soon.
p.s. For the being above, what d'you mean by "you suck yo mama"?

Yes, modest mouse has struck me in ways other bands have not. I like almost all of their songs, and they will live on in my mind for an indefinite number of years. Thanks Isaac, for shaking my hand (twice!) outside the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago in August '02. Good luck on their next album!

UGLY BUILDING ONLY WENT YOUR MONEY!

>>By ian   (Wednesday, 12 Feb 2003 22:41)

Yeah, every time I listen to a modest mouse album, I immediately think it's the greatest album ever... right now listening to "moon and antarctica"... I saw them play in Chicago at the House of Blues... damn good show... Isaac Brock was trashed, they rocked, and their was this screen they were showing tripped out films.... like buildings falling down, but backwards... bombs exploding backwards, shit like that... added an interesting element to the music...

>>By n8diggity   (Thursday, 13 Feb 2003 01:17)

Its hard to listen to anything and enjoy it after listening to Modest Mouse.
