Good Band, Peter Garrat is a kick arse singer and their music is fucking great,one of the best Australian bands.

Midnight Oil is my favorite rock band of all time. I highly recommend all of their albums. My favorite albums are probably "10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,", "Place Without A Postcard", "Earth and Sun and Moon", "Head Injuries", "Redneck Wonderland", & "Breathe". I like the hit albums like "Diesel and Dust" and "Blue Sky Mining" very much also, but I like those other albums more. "Short Memory", "Outside World", "Armistice Day".....all of their songs are fantastic!

They're the best rock band. I saw them 5 times in concert! I also have two drum sticks from the last concert. WOW ! Midnight Oil will always be alive but I'll miss having new albums. One of my favorite song is One country. Take care Midnight Oil! Luv ya !

Simply the best ever. They will be missed greatly. From their their debut ablum to Capricornia, from Scream in Blue Live to Blue Sky Red Earth, from their Exxon protest to their their involvement with the Clayoquot Defense and Greenpeace, they will be remembered forever.
Even though they will never be quite the same with Peter, I can't wait for the remaining members to reform and play again.

I have been a Midnight Oil fan for now over 15 years. In fact it all started back in 1987 with the hits "Beds are Burning", "The Deadheart", "Artic World". Then I got the 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1... tape and I really loved "Only the Strong", "Short Memory", in fact all the songs from this album. I saw the band for the time last year (June 2002) at concert at "L'Elysee Montmartre" in Paris. I got the "20'000 Watts RSL" DVD and I often watch (and listen) it.

I want to talk just a few words about this great band. The first contact I had with their music was in the late 80´s, when I listened and saw the video of ´´The Deadheart``for the first time.I felt simply astonished with the vibe, the attitude and the music itself.From this day up to now, I can say I have been their fan and feel very sorry I won´t get new albums by Midnight Oil.Loads of luck to the guys then.The important thing is that ´´we carry in the heart the true country and that cannot be stolen``

i love this band i have almost all the records im gonna buy everything i see what i sadness i discovered them too late i didnt see them live argggggggggg!!i listen to them everyday now and im learning the songs i love to sing midnight oil!!my fave songs for the moment are all the songs on the self-titled album huhu,read about it,us forces(of course),maralinga,when the generals talk(possibly my FAVE one),best of both worlds,,jimmy sharman's boxers,shipyards of nz,dreamworld,sell my soul,all the songs on blue sky mining,time to heal,star of hope,gravelrash(breathe is arggg),and the more recent songs i heard and that i dont have the records yet sooo!!i want capricornia!!huhu!!anyway what a band ill get a t shirt as soon as possible!!oils rule
