| Discussion: Mercyful Fate I just bought 'The Best of Mercyful Fate' and was dissapointed to see that 'The Old Oak' and 'The Bell Witch' was not on the track listing. Nevertheless King Diamond never ceases to amaze me with his vocal range and the band always assaults my senses with their music. The true King of classic rock is Mercyful Fate! >>By Beloved Corpse Hail Satan!!!!! This is the best Satanic band ever!!!!! Venom is not classy at all, Sodom was shity and had no songs, the rest came after Mercyful Fate! No one was as true to the real Satanic ways. King was a true poet and could suck you right in if you let him. They have a sexy classic rock feel to them that makes the songs stand the test of time. The drumming is relaxed and not to busy. Tim is one of the best bass players in the game. Hank rocks the riffs just never stop with this guy. Mike has a grip on the hard guitar stuff so tight that it hurts.
