I got the M2 album a couple of months ago which is hard to find in Turkey. I wanted to say that I've never heard better bass playing in such a good music album. Marcus brings much more than technique. He brings musical integrity and honesty. His playing makes you want to stop being lazy & get off your butt, pick up your bass and play. Another great thing about Marcus is his sound. Not just his EQ, but the sound that comes out of his fingers. The only other bass sound I enjoy like Marcus is Prince. He can get sick on the bass too. Thank you Marcus for inspiring me to be an honest musician. Marcus definitely has soul in his playing. You can hear come from his heart to his fingers. The man has such incredible technique. The bass that he plays is such a great bass too. I wonder if he designed it, and then Fender came out with his model or if Fender custom built it for him. I have never seen a set up like his on any other bass.
