>>By milky   (Tuesday, 26 Nov 2002 18:51)

What? Rotterdam producer?! LOL
This guy is french, from Paris!
I have doubt you could find in netherlands as good producers as the French.
I can tell, I leave there!

>>By msmacabre   (Wednesday, 22 Jan 2003 13:14)

he's good coz he has a wide range of hard styles, and he shits on any ROTTERDAM hacks!

>>By dj xeniklain   (Friday, 24 Jan 2003 14:14)

Jeah...(pffff) How wold any of you know what is up in Rotterdam? And sinds when did Rotterdam became the centerpoint of Dutch Hardcore??? (stop fucking up words that other people say or make easy conclusions about something that you have heard on some Stupid Comercial Dutch Hardcore CD with trax from Neophyte, Outblast, BassD&KingMattheuw or some other shitHeads...

You don't know what is going on down the underground. Manu is a great producer but not the best. Who was he 10 years ago??? <<NOBODY!!!>> HEhelped bilding up the respect for "hardcore-techno" internationaly together with other producters ofcource, like Liza n'Eliaz, Radium, AlphexTwin, LennyDee, MarkNewlands,TheProducer, MarcAcardipane...and so on. All of them from different parts of the world, BUT BUT BUT !!!!!!
>>>What is for instents so graet about the Britsh harcore scene???
>>>The German???
>>>Or Italian???
<<<NOTHING>>>
SCENE SUCKS!!! - FUCK FALSE REPUTATIONS AND DUMASS GOSIPS!!!!!!

lookin for biomechanic 97 release. Vinyl or cd. Manu rocks! Hardcore saves the day

>>By steve   (Monday, 10 Feb 2003 23:48)

Core of freedom you have alot of nerve calling Emmanual a nobody. I have been listening, spinning, and living hard core techno for the past 13 years. My only regret in being so involved with the style of music I listen to is not finding out what Manu was all about earlier.Their is nobody who can create a set like Manu Le Malin. The future and boundries in wich hard core techno can be pushed starts with amazing talented DJ from Paris. So many other DJs I have heard on tape,cd,or live that spin techno try to out do or even imitate the skills Manu Le Malin has.The next time you critisize someone for what they do or are about, make shure you know all the facts first -you stupid hippocryt!!!!!!!

>>By SPAWN SHADOW   (Friday, 14 Feb 2003 23:43)

manu le malin, whatever. Rotterdam is the source, the beginning, here is where its started and here is where it will end, so piss off..

>>By rotterdam hardcore   (Tuesday, 18 Feb 2003 15:56)

It will not end @ rotterdam since those guys really don't care about thinking about the future of hardcore and only about the money (a few exceptions ofcourse).
No progression is made trough the years by them.
I'm glad we have some good, new, young, talented and experimental producers like N-vitral and Void Settler/Labyrinth from the south of holland.

I'm working on a new website called pioneers of hardcore (www.hardcore-pioneers.tk) and Manu le Malin is going to be named there too!!

Stagnation leads to death...innovation is the keyword

>>By Tyharo   (Sunday, 23 Feb 2003 22:08)

Forgot to say this guy is also a God behind the wheels!!
Damn...what a skills!!!
-2 thumbs up-

>>By Tyharo   (Sunday, 23 Feb 2003 22:10)

@SPAWN SHADOW (Core of freedom you have alot of nerve calling Emmanual a nobody.)
Are you blind? Can you even read? Are you stupid?
I refered to the past where al of the great producers started. THE PAST MAN!!! The learning period! The moment when you turn your worthless junksound into SOMETING... Sorry for my interest in history, someone who hase played records for 13 years now should be a litlebit aware of the progress...dont you think???
My reaction was to the DICK (dj xeniklain) who thinks he knows what is up in Rotterdam and what Manu thinks of it... (what are you, a mind reader or somekind of SUPERFAN???)

Manu is a great producer and even a greater DJ, but that is all technical. I don't now him in person, friends of my do, they don't treat him as a GOD! Respect is far more apropriat.

@Tyharo (Stagnation leads to death...innovation is the keyword)

I agree with you on the fact that most of the producters in Rotterdam are a bunch of MonyEatingPigs, but we have to keep the hope up and going. I see a slite change in music the last 3years that goes into the good direction thanx to The Third Movement. Stuff like N-Vitral, Catscan an RudeAwaykening are a step into the right place! On the other hand it isn't so bad... we need shit music to compare it with gold... Let's just hope that poeple get a bit more openminded in Holland and start to experiment alot more. The owners of big recordlabels have the power to teach the listeners. If they only wold make place on there regular vinyl for atleast 1track per releas to be of an experimental form, it would be worth wile.

ps: (sorry for my bad English)

manu is poo, happy hardcore & cheesey gabber is the best, who wants manu, all he can do is produce some of the best industrial hardcore records ever made and get a crowd dancing like nutters like no one else can.

nah give me dj dougal or hixxy anyday ; )

>>By happy hardcore is the best   (Friday, 7 Mar 2003 00:02)

yeaaaaaa... I happen to like manu le malin, its true that rotterdam is where it started - but that doesnt mean manu le malin sucks ass.. btw, what does manu le malin translate to in french? Help me im dumb, sorry.

>>By stefano   (Monday, 31 Mar 2003 19:56)

Yes I like to say a litlle something about Hardcore also known to be called gabber. We the dutch invented that shit, and don't you forget about that. Even the word gabber is dutch it meens friend and here in Holland we call the friends we share our drugs and fun times with GABBER. Gabber/hardcore was not created in Rotterdam but in Amsterdam the capital of Holland.

THE FIRST SONG THAT HAD OVER 200 BEATS PER MINUTE WAS CREATED IN AMSTERDAM. So hardcore is from Amsterdam but who gives a fuck where it's from The best hardcore was always made in the U.S., Germany, france, Italy, and Canada (drop base network is canadian). And another thing TEN YEARS AGO MANU LE MALIN WAS THE BEST BECAUSE I HAVE A 9 YAR OLD CD MIXED BY HIM AND IT IS MY SECOND HARDEST CD. So fuck of he is the best

>>By MELCAM   (Thursday, 8 May 2003 12:07)

I'm sorry

I forgot to say there is no DJ that can be labeled as the best DJ

SPAWN SHADOW Lenny dee (10 years ago) from INDUSTRIAL STRENGHT RECORDS sounded just the way Manu le malin sounds now so who's copying who.

In 1993 real hardcore Gabbers from Rotterdam and Amsterdam knew that we where pussy's compared to the American style.   (Thursday, 8 May 2003 15:32)

Yes N-vitral rocks!!
This young guy is the future of Holland's music!!
Some people call him the Dutch Manu le Malin...but I don't think that's correct...he has his own kind of style...calling him that way makes it sound like he is a rip-off or something :(

He is even going to make tracks for my project who will kick off the 22nd of may (my birthday) and he is also creating a live-act...and not a live-act like a dj behind the wheels and a mc in front and stuff...no...the real shit :)

>>By Tyharo   (Thursday, 8 May 2003 19:28)

I seen Manu Le Mailn at a couple of rezzes, the man is far too good

>>By chris jolly   (Tuesday, 27 May 2003 14:41)

Who the fuck cares where the first song over 200bpm was ''created''?
Sinds when did hardcore had to do enything with tempo?
Is a hardcore track of 130-150-170 no real hardcore then?

_______________________________________________________________________________
Gabber=TREND in first place, then you get to know poeple and have fun (listening to music, doing drugs, hanging out all together scaring the shit out of regular poeple with the hurd)
Gabber=LIFESTILE
Gabber=DUTCH

Poeple like Manu, Laurent Ho, Micropoint, BloodyFist crew and other wel known (non dutch) hardcore artists... they don't give a fuck about GABBER becoase they never play in front of them, if you put Laurent Ho to play at a regular hardcore party in Holland, nobody will dance to it. THEY JUST DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE FUCK HE'S DOING!!!
thats becouse gabber was raised on money and crapCORE in de mid90's.
Gabbermovement hase still got allot to learn about the understanding of ''CORE'', they usauly confuse it with the effect of drugs or slappyMesilly BOOMBOOMbase records....

manu le malin is extremely good he's the best i've ever heard but i also think that it would be fantastic when he makes a vinyl with hellfish (he's also very good)
so i just can say to everybody : manu is great for everybody gabber or not!!!!!!

>>By yves-paul   (Sunday, 8 Jun 2003 18:05)

Manu Le Malin is great and loves techno for destruction, and that's great! Not as the rich clowns, like Jeff Mills, that they only want to became famous talking about philosophy and music and arranging horse races at thre sónar. Go for it Manu!
