I'm not a very religious man, but Lionel Richie is my God. His smooth and seductive voice makes my spine tingle as I listen to 'Hello' and 'Truly' in my tin bath.
Although, I am particularly disappointed about the fact that Lionel has cut off his top quality hair do. He has also lost his flamboyant and frivolent image that he had when he was in the Commodores; as you can see he looks very solemn and calm on the new album covers. Although I think that this side of Lionel is a whole new side. Some people could describe it as a more 'mature' lionel, and I think this has given him a whole new audience of listeners, now appealing to fans young and old.
Please email me if you know if there are any upcoming tours as I have been a hardcore fan of Lionel since the Commodores were formed.

lionel richie the greatest voice in my lifetime.I became a fan when i first heard the song zoom my alltime favorite from the self title album commodores 1977,since that time i've collected every commodores and lionel richie solo albums and i must say this guy is unbelievable. never afraid to go outside the box meaning you will hear songs like zoom ,jesus is love,sail on ,all night long to angel all ranging from r&b to gospel to country and the pop sound. i just wish lionel would get back with the commodores for one last world tour that would be a dream come true. artcle by JOEFLINT23@ YAHOO.COM

Lionel Richie is a king among men and thats it! In my view the best Lionel Richie song is Stuck On You, but again I love Tender Heart aswell as Easy, BrickHouse (Commodores but he wrote it), Say you Say me oh bugger it I could go on all night! I am a huge Lionel fan and hope to meet him soon but I missed the Encore show in London (SORRY WISH I WAS THERE!). For a long time I was always in deep crap with the law and other stuff but since I started listerning to LR i've really calmed down and sorted myself out and for that I must say thank you. We all love you Lionel.

Hi everyone! Did you know that Lionel Richie will be singing a Def Leppard song called "Long Long Way To Go?" It's on Def Leppard's "X" cd, 2002 release. I heard Lionel Richie's version and its alright. Its suppose to be on a soundtrack for the movie King Arthur coming up in the next few months. Enjoy & Cheers!
